Supporting Artists at
DC Art Foundation
At dc art foundation, we have created a unique space to support artists. This space is designed with specific areas for working and living. Only one artist at a time will have the opportunity to stay here (by invitation only), for a period of 6 to 12 weeks, to develop a project for the Miami community.
The foundation covers the airfare, provides a monthly stipend, and takes care of all necessary expenses related to work materials.

IMPORTANT DETAILS
An economic stipend will be provided, and the guest artist can decide how to use it, in an amount considered sufficient for food and transportation.
dc art foundation cannot guarantee a visa to enter the United States, so priority will be given to artists who already have or do not need one.
In special cases, dc art foundation is willing to consider allowing family members to also live within the residence. Due to the nature of the residence, pets are not allowed.
We will diligently work to place the artworks produced during the residency in an art gallery or cultural space in the city, with the ultimate goal of exposing and promoting them within the art community. The resident artist must sign an agreement accepting that the works produced will remain in Miami for the 12 months following the end of the residency period. Conditions in case of a sale or expenses related to exhibiting a piece of art in a specific space will be discussed with the respective gallerist or curator, with direct participation from dc art foundation
Promotion and
Exhibition
IMPORTANT NOTE
All social media promotion of the artworks produced during the residency must mention that they were part of the dc art foundation
